Ron Coons has more than 22 years experience in the business world. Over this time he has held various leadership and managerial positions as well as positions in Human Resources, Safety & Health, and Customer Service. His 22 years of experience has been accumulated in industries such as Oil & Petroleum, Construction, Retail, and Manufacturing.
He holds degrees in Retail Management and Occupational Safety & Health Management. He also has obtained certificates in Human Resource Management and Industrial Hygiene Management. Ron also is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
In his more than 22 years in the business industry, he has seen companies that stay the status quo, and also those that move forward and succeed. Those companies that remain at the status quo do so because “that’s the way they have always done things”. The business world is changing, and Ron has seen and helped companies move forward into the New Age of business, out of the command and control type business, to one that invests in its human capital. Higher moral, lower turnover, decreased work injuries, and bigger bottom lines are all present in these companies; companies that are now known as the employer of choice in their industry as well as their communities.
Ron resides deep in the heart of the Catskill Mountains with his wife of 17 years and his three daughters
